Join DC SCORES poet-athletes on November 14th at Eastside poetry slam!
Thousands of young people from our elementary school programs east of the Anacostia River will take the stage as they perform original spoken word poetry in a competition judged by some of the top poets in the DMV.
DC SCORES slams are the biggest youth poetry events in the DMV, with more than 3,500 young people performing over three slams. For more information about our program, visit our What We Do page.
This event is free to families and school community members with registration. Details for registering for the event will be shared with DC SCORES coaches.
Parents and families, please contact your school’s coach for information about bus pick-up and drop-off for the event.
