Middle School Poetry Slam
Join DC SCORES as we kick off poetry slam season with our middle school performances!

Join DC SCORES middle school poet-athletes at the first poetry slam of the fall season. Thousands of young people from our middle school programs will take to the stage as they perform original spoken word poetry in a competition judged by some of the top poets in the DMV.
DC SCORES slams are the biggest youth poetry events in the DMV, with more than 3,500 young people performing over three nights. For more information about our program, visit our What We Do page.
This event is free to families and school community members with registration. Details for registering for the event will be shared with DC SCORES coaches.
